“Being ‘All In’ means giving back to the communities in which we work and live. This includes supporting those less fortunate through our United Way campaign, supporting Pre-Apprenticeship programs with our golf tournament, and other volunteering opportunities. It is a great feeling to go clean up downtown Portland while wearing a JE Dunn volunteer shirt and have people come up and thank us for what we are doing.”
Tom Heger
Vice President

The Portland office dedicates itself to community impact, both as individual members and as an office. They serve on community boards and government committees. Their dedication to service garnered them recognition on a local and national level in safety, diversity and inclusion, influence, and vision.

The Portland office’s engagement activities focused on the environment, health, and education. Portland’s annual fundraising event, Making Links Golf Tournament, benefits pre-apprenticeship programs, low-income youth education and counseling programs, and training for women in construction. The tournament raised $56,000 for Oregon Tradeswomen. Additionally, the Portland office dedicated hundreds of volunteer hours and contributed over $130,000 dollars towards local charitable organizations.
