“Building a community doesn’t always involve blue cranes, high-rises, and parking garages. Sometimes the smallest acts can have the most meaningful impact. Our team takes great pride in our city, and we’re committed to improving it in every way we can. Working with organizations such as United Way, Hope Center for Kids, and Habitat for Humanity is a gratifying way we serve our community outside of our everyday campaigns and contributions.”

The Omaha office provided multiple community impact opportunities for employees throughout 2021. They collected an entire truckload of food and monetary donations for the Foodbank of the Heartland through the annual NAWIC food drive. Thirteen volunteers spent their United Way Day of Caring helping with painting and simple repairs at the Hope Center for Kids, followed by preparing the center’s gardens for their resident children’s Garden to Table Market.

JE Dunn’s Red Face Relay originated in Omaha and the team raised more than $30,000 for the local American Heart Association in 2021. Volunteers painted homes with Habitat for Humanity and raised awareness for Imagine Inclusion, a local nonprofit partner that is working to build a fully inclusive and accessible playground in Omaha. In addition, the Omaha office and local jobsite teamed up to end the year with Angel Tree donations and holiday drives, collecting more than 30 boxes of toys, activities, and learning supplies.
