“When it comes to being ‘All in,’ I believe there is no greater sense of pride than knowing that we are helping build a safe and nurturing environment for our youth through our childcare center volunteer projects. Those same youth will one day grow up to be leaders in our community and continue to help it thrive. This type of long-term impact means even more than our contribution to the Austin skyline through our construction projects.”
William Catchings
Project Manager

As the Austin office has quickly doubled in size, leadership has worked to also double JE Dunn’s local community impact. Employees continued their focus on supporting childcare centers that serve economically disadvantaged households through an “All in” relationship with the United Way. In 2021, employees helped multiple childcare centers repair issues with their playgrounds, expand their playground equipment and shade structures, and even repair a storm drainage system. The Austin office also created new relationships with multiple nonprofits in 2021, including the Mary Lee Foundation, serving survivors of brain injuries and adults with neurological disorders; El Buen Samaritano, helping distribute 1,000 Thanksgiving meals; and the Austin Area Urban League, providing support for low-income seniors.
